Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on clinic equipment and building facilities.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct routine maintenance at all Westside Children's Therapy Clinics including plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry.
• Manage diagnostic testing on service orders, when required, to replace/repair parts, and adjust as required.
• Complete emergency/unscheduled repairs as they arise to facilities or gym equipment to ensure a swift return to regular business operations.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two years of experience required in at least one of the following areas:

• Electrical

• Facilities Management
• HVAC
• Mechanical
• Plumbing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance
• Requires experience in facilities maintenance with the ability to read and follow wiring schematics and work without supervision
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders, and/or walk for extended periods
• Ability to maintain and repair all building disciplines
• Moderate lifting
• Must possess sufficient tooling to perform required tasks
• Computer experience for input and retrieval of data
• Must possess a valid, clean, applicable state driver's license

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs unassisted

Travel Requirements

• 100% travel required, must be able and willing to travel to all Westside Children's Therapy Clinics as requested / directed by leadership.
