Project Scheduler/ Controls Specialist (mid to senior) JobCode: Fulltime | W2 Location: Largo, MD 20774 Role: Project Scheduler/ Project Controls Specialist Position Description: WebHawkx, LLC is looking for a motivated, detailed oriented and self-starter Project Scheduler/Controls Specialist who can provide services related to planning, scheduling, cost engineering and trend engineering on assigned projects. The individual will provide leadership to a scheduler and / or project cost engineer on larger projects. Services include preparing schedules and performance monitoring status and management reports which identify variances in work execution strategy, provide timely feedback and recommend solutions to management to improve or mitigate problems affecting cost, schedule or estimating issues throughout the life cycle of a project, program or other related work activity. Essential Functions:

• Develops the scope, schedule, budget and estimates to complete data for assigned tasks.
• Leads in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of schedules and budget data (including resource loading) for those WBS elements.
• Analyzes unit rates to the extent the estimate to complete unit rates are well understood and defendable to peer review.
• Assembles and compiles schedules and cost data and inputs into the project control database and provide output to the project team.
• Analyzes schedules progress and performance and identifies developing problem areas.
• Participates in claims analysis and negotiation.
• Takes the lead in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Related Degree
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project or Project Web App (PWA) or SharePoint Task list
• Good to have experience with Microsoft Project Schedules and Planning.
• Experience setting up construction schedules working with resource loading and earned value management systems
• Project Controls experience on engineering and construction projects
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of principles and concepts of cost engineering as they relate to budgeting, monitoring and tracking actual costs, change orders and forecasting
• Experience with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $120, $140,000.00 per year
