Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and leading a team of staff members. This role requires a blend of culinary knowledge, leadership skills, and operational expertise to create a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels efficiently.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Implement effective shift management practices to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly.
- Manage budgeting processes to optimize restaurant profitability while maintaining quality service.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences.
- Experience in training & development of staff members in hospitality settings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Experience in fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food environments is preferred.

Pay: $40, $45,000.00 per year
