Auto Mechanic

Job Overview
This job is commission based. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with specific experience working on all makes of vehicles. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in vehicle maintenance. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in vehicles, particularly GM models.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems including powertrain, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize welding techniques when required for body repairs or structural modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's condition and repair needs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair.
• Proficiency in working with many brand vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to perform auto body repair tasks as needed.
• Familiarity with ADAS technologies and their integration into modern vehicles.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Capability to perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
