CRI has an exciting opportunity for an Assurance Managerin our Professional Services team. Our Professional Services team enables the success of our Assurance practice by providing support services related to quality management, training & development, and data analysis and by being solution-focused, skilled in our field, and invested in each other's success. This position allows for working remotely.

As Assurance Manager you will be responsible for the execution of quality reviews and assistance with portions of quality management projects such as training & development related to assurance methodology to CRI professionals. This role will require audit and risk management expertise and assistance with data analytics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct independent quality reviews of audits, AUPs, and SSARS (reviews, compilations, preparations) engagements to ensure consistent application of methodology and standards, support continuous improvement efforts, and reduce audit risk.
  • Support the department's most important strategic initiatives, particularly as related to initiatives that impact or are impacted by audit methodology; Ensure changes to methodology are consistently applied with regard to industry standards and CRI practices.
  • Assist with data gathering to prioritize risks and allocate resources.
  • Actively participate in special projects and department initiatives, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • CPA Certification is required
  • Minimum of five years public accounting experience in audit and SSARS
  • Industry experience in the following fields preferred: government, single audit, not-for-profit, construction, healthcare
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment with strong inherent project execution skills, including prioritizing tasks, balancing workload between multiple projects, anticipating next steps, adapting to changing situations and project scope. Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
  • Strong conceptual thinking aptitude: Excellent judgment and ability to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications, willingness to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary, and commitment to self-improvement and completion of team objectives.
