Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Develop sketches, diagrams, design alternatives, calculations, and permitting and construction drawings under the supervision of an experienced civil engineer

• Assist with activities related to project scope, schedule, budgets, documentation, submittals, quality, communications, and disciplines coordination

• Work with MEP, Structural Engineering and Architecture Departments on multi-disciplinary projects for NYCDEP and NYCT

• Attend project/client meetings

• Assist with report writing and development of contract documents

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project deliverables.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• BS, Civil Engineering; MS desirable

• 5+ years' experience in planning and design of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil-site and water/wastewater/stormwater related infrastructure

• Working knowledge of standard engineering software, e.g., AutoCAD and Civil 3D, H&H modelling, and MicroStation a plus

• Strong analytical and communications skills

• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) License required

• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams

• NYCDEP experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95, $120,000.00 per year
