Production Supervisor

· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

· Supervise and lead production teams, ensuring that associates are motivated, trained, and performing their duties effectively.

· Utilize ERP/MRP platform (JobBoss) for planning activities and to provide timely information and updates to key stakeholders.

· Balance current and future customer demands with shop floor and supplier capacities to ensure successful completion of customer requirements (delivery, quality, cost).

· Participate in planning meetings with key stakeholders to proactively identify scheduling issues, coordinate department efforts, and ensure jobs are completed on time while meeting customer's quality requirements.

· Understand and drive Key Metrics: Safety, Quality, Labor Productivity and Cost Control.

· Assist Human Resources with recruiting new hires, training new hires, and resolving associate issues.

· Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.

· Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as People: Safety (TRIR and DART), Training, Quality (Non-conformances, FTQ, COPQ/revenue), Productivity (on- time delivery, OEE, throughput) and Cost (productivity improvements, continuous improvement savings and budget attainment for controllable costs).

· Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement foundational lean manufacturing principles (5S, TPM, Standard Work and visual management) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's (preferred) or associate's degree in operations management or equivalent work experience.

· 3-5 years' experience in a supervision role in a manufacturing environment.

· Above average blueprint reading ability and knowledge of GD&T.

· Above average knowledge of precision machining industry standards for milling, grinding, EDM, lathe operations and features.

· Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (JobBoss Preferred).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
