High School Mathematics Instructor(Bilingual Mandarin)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School Math Instructor to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and be capable of teaching a range of courses, including:

• Algebra I, Honors Algebra I
• Algebra II, Honors Algebra II
• Geometry, Honors Geometry
• Pre-Calculus, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Pre-Calculus
• AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC
• Statistics, AP Statistics

The instructor will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills among students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Standards-Aligned Instruction: Plan and teach high-quality lessons that align with curriculum standards and clearly defined learning objectives.
• Cultivate a Supportive Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive culture that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives.
• Differentiate Instruction: Adapt teaching strategies to support students with varied learning styles and needs, including English language learners and students with learning differences.
• Assess and Support Growth: Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to guide improvement.
• Maintain Effective Classroom Management: Implement consistent routines and management strategies to ensure a structured, focused, and productive learning environment.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement: Stay current with best practices in mathematics education and integrate instructional technology to enhance learning and student engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of two years of k-12 tutoring experience
• Proficiency in diverse instructional strategies, assessment methods, and technology integration.
• Strong passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.
• Compliance with all state and federal educational regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
