I. Key Responsibilities and Scope of Work
- Business Planning in oil and gas
Implement Huatong Petroleum's annual business plan in the US market to ensure the achievement of business targets.
Conduct in-depth analysis of the US market dynamics (particularly in the areas of completion services, ESP systems, and cable technology), competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and technological trends to identify core growth opportunities and potential risks.
Regularly report to the senior vice president at the headquarters and discuss business progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), market insights, and strategic adjustment suggestions with the Chinese general manager.
- Business Development and Customer Relationship Management (with a particular focus on completion/ESP fields)
Lead business development and sales activities in the US market, with a focus on core areas such as completion services, ESP systems, and related cable technologies.
Utilize extensive experience and network of contacts from the top four oilfield service companies or similar leading enterprises to establish, maintain, and deepen high-level strategic relationships with key customers (including but not limited to major oil companies, independent producers, and important oilfield service partners).
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities (including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships) to diversify revenue sources.
Lead major contract negotiations to ensure terms are in line with company interests and risk control requirements.
Supervise marketing and brand-building activities to enhance Huatong Petroleum's professional image and visibility in the North American market.
- Operation Management
Inventory management, project execution and service delivery processes are improved to enhance customer satisfaction.
Strictly implement the company's HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policies and standards to ensure a zero-accident goal and comply with all local and federal regulations (such as EPA, OSHA, etc.).
Be responsible for the compliance of the US business, ensuring that all operational activities comply with US laws and regulations (including export control, anti-corruption laws, etc.) as well as the company's internal policies.
- Technical Leadership and Product Development (Utilizing Professional Background)
Provide strategic guidance for technical solutions in the North American market based on professional expertise and experience in completion tools/techniques or ESP cables.
Work closely with the headquarters' R&D department to feed back local market demands and technological trends to the headquarters, promoting product development and technological innovation that meet the needs of North America.
Offer advanced technical support and professional insights to the sales and operations teams, especially during complex project bids and customer technical exchanges.
Evaluate and introduce external new technologies or partners to enhance the company's technological competitiveness.
- Risk Management
Identify, assess and manage various risks faced in the operation of North American business, formulate and implement effective risk mitigation plans.
Maintain good relationships with local government agencies, industry organizations and communities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15, $18,000.00 per month
