The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and engaging with customers to enhance their dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for processing transactions.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and register operations.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages to management.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene in beverage preparation.

Skills

• Proficient in bartending techniques and knowledge of drink recipes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals.
• Experience with cash registers and cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to beverage service is advantageous.
• Previous experience in food service or catering environments is a plus.
