Responsibilities

• Manage inventory
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for register operations.
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Uphold food handling practices to guarantee customer safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experiences.

Requirements

• Previous barista or coffee experience.
• Food Manager experience
• Food Handlers permit
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
