- Lead and supervise the nursing team during on-call weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality care and smooth operations
- Provide services in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state/federal nursing regulations
- Oversee admissions, assessments, and periodic reviews of residents' functional and mental abilities
- Administer and document medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and update care plans based on residents' physical and psychosocial changes
- Assist physicians with exams and follow up on new orders or changes in care
- Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Interact with residents and families with compassion, hospitality, and clear communication
- Assist with emergency preparedness and implement safety protocols when needed
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or compact state)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered, with a passion for long-term care
- Dependable and able to work independently in a supervisory capacity
- Calm under pressure, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities on busy shifts
