Job Summary

Residential Group Home For Behavioral/ Mental Health Adoloscents

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our residential Group Home. The ideal candidate will work with Behavioral Health and Mental Health adoloscents and families to provide support, guidance, and resources to improve their quality of life. This role involves assessing residents needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. The Social Worker and or Clinical supervisor will collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents in the residential group home setting.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide behavioral therapy and crisis intervention services to clients in need. Including Group Therapy.
  • Utilize techniques such as motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis to facilitate positive change.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress using EMR system and documentation.
  • Engage in research to stay updated on best practices for CYBH therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care for clients.
  • Advocate for youth rights and access to necessary resources and services.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of Behavioral Health adoloscents social work principles and practices.
  • Proficient in behavioral and Group therapy techniques, including crisis intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis concepts is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing case documentation and client records effectively.
  • Ability to conduct research and apply findings to improve client outcomes.
  • Empathetic approach with a genuine desire to care for individuals facing challenges.
