Job Title: Training Coordinator

Position Function: The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, delivering, and tracking training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed for safe and efficient job and high-quality job performance. This role collaborates with operations, safety, quality, and HR teams to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and continuous improvement efforts.

Tasks/Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the following

  1. Lead and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding for manufacturing employees.

  2. Support safety initiatives by participating in audits and inspections to identify and address training opportunities across the organization.

  3. Conduct accident investigations, complete required reports, and coordinate medical treatment for employees as needed.

  4. Develop, implement, and deliver job-specific training programs covering production processes, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.

  5. Maintain accurate training records in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, etc.)

  6. Partner with department supervisors and managers to identify training needs and create effective training plans.

  7. Measure the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

  8. Organize and coordinate internal and external training sessions, including vendor-led certifications and compliance programs.

  9. Ensure all employees complete mandatory safety and compliance training on schedule.

  10. Promote employee engagement in safety programs and act as a resource for employees with questions on training or safety policies.

  11. Update and maintain training materials (manuals, SOPs, videos) to reflect evolving processes.

  12. Completes all ISO 9001: 2015 AS9100D quality training and follow related procedures.

  13. Adhere to all company, plant, and safety regulations.

  14. Performs additional duties as assigned in alignment with organizational objectives and management direction.

Job Specifications:

  1. Bachelors Degree in Business or Human Resources.

  2. 2-4 years of manufacturing experience; union facility experience strongly preferred.

  3. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  4. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

  5. Ability to develop and deliver engaging training materials with a commitment to accuracy.

  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
