At Weyerhaeuser, this role will be heavily involved with the implementation of UKG Pro WFM as we work towards optimizing workforce efficiency and compliance while enabling achievement of business goals and targets.
You will support accurate, compliant, and efficient workforce operations through expert administration of timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling within UKG across U.S. and Canadian locations including manufacturing sites, distribution centers, Timberlands field sites, and Seattle HQ. This role will effectively collaborate with business operations leaders, Payroll, HR, and HRMS staff, ensuring that time and attendance data are accurate, compliant, and ready for payroll processing. Over time, this position will evolve to include labor forecasting, analytics, and long-term workforce planning to support strategic decision-making around staffing and labor costs.
What You'll Do
Serve as subject matter expert for UKG WFM Timekeeping, Attendance Tracking and Scheduling functionality across U.S. and Canadian operations including implementing upgrades, analyzing risks, assessing new release features, and executing projects to adopt new functionalities or change processes .
Work closely with business operations, Payroll, HRMS, and UKG to optimize UKG functionality for workforce time & attendance and scheduling modules (including process optimization/automation, system enhancements, and new functionality implementations).
Ensure that Timekeeping, Attendance Tracking and Scheduling functionality complies with applicable laws and regulations (federal, state/provincial, local) and corporate governance requirements in U.S. and Canada.
Monitor and validate accurate capture of worked hours, attendance exceptions (late arrivals, no-shows, early departures, breaks, failure to punch), PTO/leave usage, and schedule adherence prior to payroll processing.
Optimize Timekeeping, Attendance Tracking, and Scheduling functionality and processes related to workforce/timekeeping/ scheduling and labor balance monitoring; and recommend and implement improvements to workflow, controls, documentation and automation.
Effectively partner with payroll, business leaders and HRMS to capture business requirements for time & attendance/scheduling processes; articulates technical specifications for UKG functionality improvements and enhancements.
Support internal and external audits of timekeeping, attendance and scheduling processes; and prepare audit documentation, track findings, and implement remediation actions.
Provide reporting and analytics on time & attendance data (e.g., absence trends, exception volumes, schedule adherence, labor cost variances) and support the development of forecasting labor models, staffing recommendations and scheduling strategies.
Collaborate with payroll, accounting and business operations teams to understand how timekeeping and scheduling data flow into payroll; support resolution of variances and issues resulting from time/schedule inputs.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
3-5 years of related experience in time & attendance, scheduling, workforce management or equivalent; manufacturing preferred.
Prior payroll experience or strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance preferred.
Previous experience in a large, complex, multi-jurisdiction (U.S. and Canada) enterprise environment.
Experience implementing or supporting HCM / workforce management / time & attendance / scheduling systems (e.g., UKG Pro, Kronos Workforce Dimensions, Kronos Central, ADP eTime, Dayforce, or similar or equivalent) highly preferred.
Ability to synthesize workforce data to provide clear, decisive, and actionable insights that inform business operations decisions for time/attendance and scheduling
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with business operations leaders and staff, Payroll, HRMS, HR, Finance and vendor partners (UKG).
Knowledge of work force management functionality in scheduling, time and attendance and reporting features.
Demonstrated knowledge of union rules/CBAs and labor laws.
Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis and generate reports using system and data analysis tools (BI, Smartsheet) and Excel.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel with in-depth knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups; strong working knowledge of other Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively with business leaders, stakeholders, HR, Finance, IT and vendor partners (UKG).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location: This role has the ability to be a fully remote work-from-home position, provided you are currently based (or are planning to move to) one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington. This role is not open to those who live in other states or countries.
What We Offer
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $74,600 to $111,800 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. This position is also eligible for participation in our Long Term Incentive Plan.
