What We're Looking For:

What you will do:
- Operate a track hoe efficiently and safely
- Learn and independently operate facility equipment
- Use all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Stay updated on industry technological advancements
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues
- Support team efforts and uphold GridSource' s mission and values
- Maintain a positive work environment and build professional relationships
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Follow GridSource policies and procedures
What you need:
- Previous experience in the broadband industry required
- Minimum of five years of experience in underground or civil construction
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and manage crews
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 95 lbs. and operate a 32-foot ladder
- Experience in environments with moderate to loud noise and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week, including holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed
