Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles, anatomy, and physiology, along with excellent communication skills to develop and implement effective care plans. The Physical Therapist will play a vital role in helping patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalized treatment strategies.
Duties
- Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional ability.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs across diverse settings such as acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and home & community care.
- Administer therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to promote healing and restore function.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, including discharge planning and follow-up services.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize recovery results.
- Assist in managing patients with complex conditions such as post-surgical recovery or chronic pain management related to orthopedics or geriatrics.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards while providing compassionate patient care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Experience with various clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and clinic experience.
- Proficiency in developing effective discharge planning strategies for diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with treating patients in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those requiring home & community care.
- Skilled in implementing advanced techniques like trigger point therapy and other manual therapies.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team within fast-paced healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of current healthcare technology including EMR systems for documentation and patient management.

Pay: $ $54.27 per hour
