Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations before, during, and after shifts
• Follow food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices at all times
• Assist in meal preparation for special events or menu changes as required
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of ingredients that need replenishing
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A genuine passion for food, cooking, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
