The Social Media Coordinator will work with our social team on assigned content to write, design, create and distribute strategic subject matter for our social media campaigns (FB, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms). The Social Media Coordinator combines marketing and social media skills to enhance the company's social media presence, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for reach.

Core duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Contributes to marketing and social media campaigns, blogs, and strategies, including planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.

  • Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with Social Media Manager in conjunction with various company department members, including Marketing, product development, Sales and brand management.

  • Provides feedback, guidance and new ideas to the Marketing team members on social media implementation, best practices and strategies.

  • Collects social customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to coordinate comprehensive monthly reports and improvement plans future marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Reports progress to Social Media Manager for senior marketing or company management.

  • Contributes to growth of company social media presence into new social media platforms, while increasing presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

  • Researches and monitors activity of company competitors and documents their "best practices."

· Collaboration and involvement with photo and video shoots, including ideation and inspiration, planning and being on set for the shoot, getting the BTS content, assisting photographers and videographers, etc.

  • Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages in conjunction with the Social Media Manager and Marketing Department Leadership.

  • Make recommendations based on monthly and quarterly compiled data and observed opportunities and trends.

  • Sets and reaches engagement goals on many different social media platforms.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Skills & Competencies:

  • A Degree in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations, preferred.

  • Experience with ability in producing video for social media platforms, specifically TikTok and Reels

· Experience and ability in using editing software/platforms a plus (ex: Adobe Premiere Pro)

· Ability to be active in responding to DM's and engaging with audience in evenings and on weekends.

  • Marketing Experience, Content Creation, Copywriting, Graphic Design, Web Design and Strategy, Data Collection and Analysis, Technology Skills.

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple obligations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience in creating, composing and writing content.

  • Ability to work as a team player – flexible, able to adjust to shifting priorities

  • Positive "can-do" attitude.

  • Ability to take constructive feedback.

  • Other projects as assigned.
