Electrician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial, commercial, or construction environments, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and safety protocols. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including low and high voltage systems, utilizing various hand and power tools. The Electrician will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across multiple sites.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with NEC standards and schematics
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
• Use hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and testing instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose issues
• Work on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and techniques
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction sites and electrical work environments
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper framing carpentry supports electrical installations
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere to blueprint specifications and schematics for accurate wiring layouts

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician, with knowledge of NEC regulations
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and schematics reading
• Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
• Experience working on construction sites with safety-conscious practices
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
• Familiarity with frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments

This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex electrical tasks while maintaining safety standards. Candidates should possess relevant experience in electrical systems within industrial or construction settings, along with the necessary technical skills to excel in this role.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
