Speech Language Pathologist

Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist ready to make a real impact? S.T.A.R. Academy - Haynes Family of Programs, a certified Non-Public Agency (NPA) is seeking an enthusiastic SLP to join our dynamic team.

Opportunity:

• Immediate contractor openings for therapy services, grades K-22.
• Areas of Need: Winnetka, Canoga Park, Reseda and Porter Ranch
• Work directly with students in their homes.
• Flexible schedules, clients request sessions afterschool or in the evenings.

Summary/Objective:

Our STAR Academy's SLP is responsible for the delivery services to the children/clients across various community-based settings.

Essential Functions:

· One on One direct Supplemental Support Services/IEP based services

· Serving students ages 3-22

· Provide in-home services

Required Education and Experience:

• Active, current, and clear Speech and Language Pathology with the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
• Experience working with various diagnosis
• Available to submit session notes and time electronically
• Bilingual/biliterate in Spanish is highly preferred.

Other requirements:

• Must fulfill all requirements of employment, including but not limited to clearance of all required background records (e.g., Department of Justice, Child Abuse, California Community Care Licensing, County Sanction List, etc.), professional reference checks, physical examination with TB test, and mandatory training.
