Armed Security Officer(Weekend 5pm

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of our premises during weekend(Saturday and Sunday) night shifts from 5pm to 2am. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to any incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is highly valued, along with certifications such as CPR and First Aid.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Monitor surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at all times
• Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism, de-escalating potential threats or disputes
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management review
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required during critical incidents

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is advantageous
• Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
• Demonstrated conflict management skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
• Experience in loss prevention or retail security is a plus
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments for suspicious activity

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 per week
