Site Superintendent

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daily operations on active construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and excellent organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly project activities and direct subcontractors, coordinating closely with the Project Manager.
• Monitor project schedules and provide timely updates on progress and potential delays.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of subcontractor activity, weather conditions, and all site events; enter records into project management software.
• Conduct regular onsite walkthroughs with clients to ensure project understanding and satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor schedules and material deliveries.
• Monitor construction quality and progress, providing routine updates to the Project Manager.
• Identify potential change orders based on project needs or client requests and notify the Project Manager promptly.
• Perform ongoing site checks after construction completion as required.
• Coordinate final onsite activities, including obtaining Certificates of Occupancy.
• Participate in post-project evaluation meetings and apply lessons learned to future projects.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability with strong communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
• Highly organized with the ability to explain details clearly and provide direction to others.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to travel occasionally (flexible/negotiable based on project needs).
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Pay: $80, $90,000.00 per year
