Transportation/Delivery Driver

Job Summary:
Credit Union Auto Marketplace is seeking a reliable and professional Transportation/Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of vehicles to and from customers, dealerships, auction sites, service centers, and other locations as needed. Drivers are paid based on mileage, making it an ideal position for individuals who enjoy driving and value flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport new and pre-owned vehicles to various locations including customer residences, auctions, and other dealerships.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles for service or relocation purposes.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure condition reports are accurate.
• Maintain detailed records of mileage, destinations, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service during vehicle drop-off and pick-up interactions.
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable during transport.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in vehicle transport, delivery driving, or dealership work.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and documentation.

Compensation:

• Pay is based on mileage driven. Rate to be discussed during interview and dependent on experience and routes. This is a 1099 Position. Work is on an as needed basis.
