Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and efficient handling of cargo. Prior experience with warehouse operations, commercial driving, and heavy lifting is highly valued. The Driver will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for dependable service and operational excellence.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Manage delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and optimizing travel paths for timely service.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock movement, and order preparation when not on the road.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or courier roles preferred.
• Proven experience in delivery driving, route driving, or courier services, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Warehouse experience is desirable for understanding inventory handling and loading procedures.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple deliveries.
