Position: Line Cook
Location: Gurdon, AR
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: Based on experience and skill level (Entry: $13-$18/hr)
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Southfork's recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area — we're in the business of clean.
- Work the grill, griddle, fryer, and prep stations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred).
- Communicate clearly with fellow cooks, prep team, and servers to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with daily setup, breakdown, and restocking of your station.
- Participate in daily and weekly deep-cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and workspaces.
Who You Are
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment while staying calm and focused.
- Committed to cleanliness and proper food handling.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Previous line cook or short-order experience preferred (but willing to train the right person).

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen roles within the food industry
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Experience in fine dining or catering is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department operations is a plus
- Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable
