Massage Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and pain relief through various massage techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a calming environment for clients.

Duties

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address specific pain management issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space that promotes relaxation.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or home care routines as necessary.
• Collaborate with other health professionals in the med spa setting to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles.
• Experience in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to perform physical examinations as needed to assess client conditions.
• Knowledge of pain management strategies, particularly in acute pain management scenarios.
• Previous experience in a med spa or therapeutic setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
