Join our Los Angeles, California team as a Receiving Clerk and play a crucial role in managing the inbound flow of goods into our warehouse. This position is key to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. We are looking for a responsible and meticulous individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to Safety. Your role will be essential in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the overall efficiency of our distribution center. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document all incoming inventory accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to supervisors immediately.
- Organize and stage received materials for put-away into designated warehouse locations.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as directed.
- May involve some manual Lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Support the efficient flow of goods within our Logistics network.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or inventory role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform physical tasks, including manual Lifting. Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS is a plus. Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics. Excellent organizational skills. Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
