Job Summary:
Our Madison, Wisconsin facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain the accuracy of our stock. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that inventory records are precise and reliable. You will be responsible for conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with the organization and tracking of all warehouse inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating the root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Organize and label inventory items for efficient tracking and retrieval.
  • Process inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with the organization and storage of goods to optimize warehouse space.
  • May involve some light manual Lifting of inventory items up to 30 lbs.
  • Support the efficiency and accuracy of our overall Logistics process.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or a related role is preferred. Proficient with inventory management software or WMS. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory best practices. Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
