Job Summary:
Join our team in Des Moines, Iowa as an Inventory Control Specialist and play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse stock. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across the warehouse using our inventory management system.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and labeling of all stock.
  • Process incoming and outgoing inventory movements accurately.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as receiving and shipping, to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Adhere to strict Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new inventory control strategies.
  • May require occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
  • Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role. Proficiency with inventory management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics. Understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
