Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods. You'll utilize hand-held scanners and other technology to locate items and track your picking progress. We foster a safe and productive work environment, and your attention to detail will be crucial. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists, using RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and audits.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work at a steady pace. Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus. You must be comfortable performing physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace regulations is mandatory. This role is crucial for our logistics and fulfillment processes, requiring focus and accuracy.
