We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our busy distribution center in San Francisco, California. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology to track inventory and order progress. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order sheets and scanning devices.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Replenish picking locations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, such as receiving or stocking.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred but not mandatory. You should be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds and standing for the duration of your shift. A strong understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to adhering to them is essential. This role is crucial for our logistics operations and requires reliability and a positive attitude.
