Our busy distribution center in San Francisco, California is looking for efficient and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will contribute to ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and correctly. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment, requiring adherence to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of logistics operations.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
