Responsibilities:
- Receive picking orders and accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product identity and quantity against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment and maintain order accuracy.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory levels in picking areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a standing and walking environment for extended periods.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all procedures.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts.
