The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management principles. You will also play a key role in enforcing safety regulations, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and warehouse organization.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety.
- Implement and enforce safety policies, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and experience in enforcing safety regulations and PPE use.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
