This position involves consistent physical demands, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods. Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) is required, along with a valid certification. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and data entry.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Support order picking and fulfillment activities.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification and operating license.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
