We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our San Jose, California facility. This essential role supports our comprehensive logistics network by managing the movement and organization of inventory. You will participate in daily operations that ensure the timely and accurate processing of goods, from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and effectively.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring the correct handling and securement of merchandise.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, following all safety guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets and improve logistics efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Must prioritize safety and consistently use required PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are key requirements.
