You will be working with a variety of products, and attention to detail is paramount to avoid errors. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple orders and maintaining productivity. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, and the ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 pounds. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory for maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocking as needed.
- Previous picking/packing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
