We are seeking an Order Picker to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to our logistics operations and requires precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will use order lists to locate and retrieve products, ensuring that each order is complete and accurate. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount; therefore, you must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear the required PPE . The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, reaching, bending, and lifting items.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Ensure that picked items match order specifications precisely.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Verify the quantity and condition of picked items.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of our logistics chain.
- Practice safe material handling and proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and perform lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE .
