We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our distribution center, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will contribute directly to the flow of goods within our logistics network, ensuring that products reach their destinations accurately and on time. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Teamwork and effective communication are key to succeeding in this fast-paced role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Contribute to achieving daily operational goals within the logistics center.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic Safety principles in a warehouse setting.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
- Familiarity with general logistics operations.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards at all times.
