We are seeking a versatile and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Sacramento, California. This role is integral to our daily operations, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to the efficient flow of goods and ensuring customer orders are processed with accuracy and care. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, verifying against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation and data entry.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance warehouse efficiency and logistics processes.
- Load trucks for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper securing of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn WMS.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
