This position is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves to fulfill incoming orders, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve specified items from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of picking areas and aisles.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as trained.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking quotas and supporting overall warehouse logistics goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and experience with PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with colleagues.
