Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Inspect goods for any defects or damage, documenting any issues.
- Organize and place inventory into designated storage locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items.
- Package orders securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Operate manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Follow all mandated safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with physical inventory checks and stocktaking.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding workflow and potential issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is beneficial.
- Capability to engage in regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse setting with varied environmental conditions.
- Knowledge of general warehouse safety practices.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulousness.
- Capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively.
- Dependable and prompt with a strong commitment to tasks.
