Our busy New York City, New York distribution center is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our vital logistics team. In this demanding role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to manage inventory, load and unload trucks, and support overall warehouse operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods, contributing directly to our supply chain efficiency. Safety is paramount in our operations. All candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety regulations and the consistent use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). You will perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness and safety. A valid forklift certification and previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment are essential. Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced urban setting are required. This role may involve frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will collaborate closely with warehouse supervisors, shipping teams, and other personnel to meet operational demands.
