As a Picker/Packer, you will be tasked with retrieving items from inventory using advanced scanning technology, meticulously verifying product details, and expertly packing them for safe shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect all picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality goals.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning devices is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
- Strong adherence to Safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
