We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy Seattle, Washington warehouse! If you are a certified and skilled forklift operator, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This involves operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, locate, and dispatch orders. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, supporting both inbound and outbound Logistics operations. A strong commitment to Safety is mandatory, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to all operational procedures. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and comfort with physical tasks and Lifting as needed when not operating the forklift. Key duties involve:
- Operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated areas.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Following all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to forklift operations.
