Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, performing necessary repairs.
- Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform physical tasks as needed, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Support the overall logistics and operations team by ensuring equipment reliability.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of various types of warehouse machinery and systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
