We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Success in this position requires physical capability, attention to detail, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for all tasks.
- Perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
