Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Organize and store goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate methods.
- Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements and shipping manifests.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, manifest creation, and staging.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and performance targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks throughout the shift.
