We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Provo, Utah. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to our logistics and inventory management processes. You will navigate narrow aisles at height, ensuring accurate placement of goods and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. The ideal candidate possesses excellent control and judgment while operating machinery and has a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols. This position requires the ability to perform lifting duties as needed and a commitment to wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Your focus on safety and efficiency is key.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Retrieve and place inventory in high-level racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on the reach truck.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Capable of performing tasks that involve occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Valid certification or willingness to obtain certification for reach truck operation.
- Proficiency in warehouse safety procedures, especially those related to elevated equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and maintaining a safe workspace.
